The Key To Effortless Tremolo Intonation Adjustment

Setting intonation on a double-locking tremolo is one of the more awkward tasks in guitar maintenance. The standard procedure requires loosening the locking nut, detensioning the strings enough to release the bridge saddle, making the adjustment, then retuning and relocking — a process that takes significantly longer than adjusting intonation on a non-locking bridge. The EJK1000 bypasses all of that.

It clips onto the fine tuner and holds the saddle firmly in position via a claw mechanism, allowing saddle position to be adjusted with the dial at the end of the tool without loosening the strings or unlocking the nut. For Ibanez Edge tremolo users who set intonation regularly, it removes the most time-consuming part of the process.

Fast, Easy Intonation Adjustment For Ibanez Edge Tremolos — No String Removal, No Nut Unlocking Required

The Ibanez EJK1000 is an intonation adjustment tool designed specifically for Ibanez Edge, Lo-Pro Edge, and Edge-Pro double-locking tremolo bridges. It attaches to the fine tuner on the bridge and uses a claw to grip the saddle firmly in position, allowing saddle position to be adjusted using the dial on the end of the tool. No string removal and no unlocking of the locking nut is required. The main body is stainless steel, the claw is duralumin. Compatible with Ibanez original double-locking, Edge, Lo-Pro Edge, and Edge-Pro tremolo systems only — not compatible with other Floyd Rose-style bridges without verification.
