A Familiar Electric-Guitar Body Shape, Built Acoustic — Ibanez TCM50, Galaxy Black Open Pore

The Ibanez TCM50 is an acoustic-electric guitar built on Ibanez's iconic Talman body shape, with a figured ash top over sapele back and sides, finished in open pore for a natural, resonant character. The double-cutaway, shallower body construction makes the transition from electric guitar noticeably easier than a standard deep-bodied acoustic. The okume neck carries a 20-fret treated New Zealand pine fingerboard with white dot inlays and a matte finish, paired with a matching New Zealand pine bridge.

Ibanez Advantage bridge pins improve tuning stability. Electronics consist of an AP2 magnetic pickup, chosen for its warmer amplified tone compared to a standard piezo, paired with the AEQ200M preamp and 2-band EQ.
