White Siris Brings A Different Tonal Character To The Dreadnought Format

White Siris is a less common tonewood in mainstream acoustic guitar construction, offering a bright, balanced voice with good projection. Using it for both the top, back, and sides gives the VC40WSCE a distinctive tonal signature within Ibanez's V series lineup, and the open-pore finish lets that character come through clearly rather than being dampened under heavy gloss.


The VC40WSCE is the Grand Concert-bodied version of the V40WSCE — same White Siris top, back, and sides, same meranti neck and nandu fingerboard, but in a smaller, more fingerstyle-oriented body shape with a shorter scale length.

The VC40WSCE is the Grand Concert-bodied version of the V40WSCE — same White Siris top, back, and sides, same meranti neck and nandu fingerboard, but in a smaller, more fingerstyle-oriented body shape with a shorter scale length.

This gorgeous acoustic-electric guitar features an open pore brown finish and a cutaway, built entirely from White Siris for the top, back, and sides. The open pore finish allows the tonewoods to resonate more freely for a bright, articulate acoustic voice.
