The IK Multimedia AXE I/O ONE is a portable 1-in/3-out USB audio interface designed specifically for guitar and bass players. Featuring Z-TONE® impedance control, JFET input stages, and a dedicated Amp Out for reamping, it bridges the gap between professional recording quality and guitarist-friendly functionality. Compact enough for home studios, mobile setups, schools and rehearsal spaces, it delivers pro-level recording performance with the flexibility to practice, record and shape tones anywhere.

Designed For Guitarists & Bassists

Every instrument reacts differently, and AXE I/O ONE’s Z-TONE® circuit allows you to adapt the input impedance to perfectly match your guitar or bass. Switch between PURE and JFET modes for clean or harmonically rich sounds, and use the Active/Passive selector to optimise the signal from the start. A dedicated Amp Out makes it simple to practise with real amps, reamp recordings, or capture your own rig for use inside TONEX and AmpliTube software.

Software, Sounds & Tone Modeling

AXE I/O ONE comes bundled with AmpliTube 5 SE, TONEX SE and Ableton Live Lite. AmpliTube offers 80 pieces of gear, including amps, cabs and effects, while TONEX SE provides revolutionary AI-driven Tone Modeling with over 200 premium Tone Models. With access to the ToneNET platform, users can explore over 6,000 presets and 10,000+ tone models from a worldwide community of players, making this interface a complete digital guitar studio.

Flexible Connectivity & Control

Alongside its instrument and mic inputs, AXE I/O ONE includes MIDI In/Out for connecting keyboards and controllers, plus two external pedal/switch inputs for hands-free control of software parameters. The built-in Class-A microphone preamp with phantom power ensures transparent vocal and acoustic instrument recording, while balanced outputs and a dedicated headphone jack provide high-quality monitoring options.
