Accurate Nearfield Monitoring For Real-World Rooms - IK Multimedia iLoud MTM MKII.
The IK Multimedia iLoud MTM MKII is a professional nearfield studio monitor that places a 1" tweeter between two 3.5" mid-woofers, with bi-amplified Class D power, onboard DSP and built-in ARC room correction. It is made for engineers, producers and composers who need accurate monitoring in the rooms they actually work in, and it scales from a stereo pair to a subwoofer-equipped or immersive system.
MTM Driver Configuration
The Midwoofer-Tweeter-Midwoofer design reduces vertical dispersion and comb filtering from floor and ceiling reflections. The result is tighter focus and more consistent imaging across a wider sweet spot.
ARC Room Correction
ARC is built into the monitoring workflow rather than being an optional add-on. It measures your room using the measurement microphone and creates a correction profile for the listening position. The process takes minutes and gives a more accurate reference without room rebuilds. The Pair version includes the microphone, clamp and cable needed to start.
Bi-Amplified Class D And Onboard DSP
Each speaker has two Class D amplifiers, 70W for the mid-woofers and 30W for the tweeter, giving 100W RMS in total. Onboard DSP handles the linear phase crossover at 2.8kHz, driver alignment and ARC correction, and the frequency response is flat from 48Hz to 28kHz (±2dB).
Placement Controls
Rear switches adjust LF extension, a low shelf, a high shelf and a desk position setting, so the monitor can be tuned to suit its placement. The LF extension sets the -3dB point at 40, 50, 60 or 80Hz.
Balanced Connections
A combo XLR and 1/4" TRS balanced input fits professional signal chains and rejects noise over long cable runs. The monitor also has a 1/8" ARC microphone input and a USB-B port.
Grow With Your Studio
Add the iLoud Sub for full-range monitoring, or build a multichannel system calibrated with ARC X Immersive for Dolby Atmos, spatial audio and other immersive workflows. The same monitor anchors every configuration.
