The IK Multimedia ARC STUDIO+ is a hardware room correction processor that sits between your source and your speakers and corrects what you hear before it reaches your ears. It measures your room, monitors and subwoofer, calibrates from the front panel using the included ARC microphone, and works with any speakers and any subwoofer.

Standalone Calibration

Plug the ARC measurement microphone into the dedicated calibration input and start a calibration from the front panel. Standalone mode runs fast 1-point and 3-point measurements, with no computer, DAW or audio interface needed. Correction covers the full range from 20Hz to 20kHz.

Deeper Control With ARC X

ARC X is the measurement and control software behind ARC STUDIO+. It adds higher-resolution 7-point and 21-point 3D room measurement, target-curve editing and advanced profile management. You can also audition your mix through virtual speakers to see how it holds up on other systems. Correction profiles are stored in the hardware, so the processor keeps working once the software is closed.

Subwoofer Management

ARC STUDIO+ automatically detects a connected subwoofer and aligns its gain, crossover, phase and delay as part of calibration. It uses technology developed for the iLoud Sub, and it works with any brand of monitors and any subwoofer, in stereo or 2.1 setups.

Three Instant-Recall Scenes

Three programmable Scene buttons on the front panel recall a complete configuration, including the calibration profile, speaker routing, subwoofer on or off, and input selection. You could keep one Scene for your mix position, one for a second listening spot, and one for a translation-check curve.

Analogue And Digital Connections

The connections are balanced combo XLR/TRS inputs, balanced XLR monitor outputs, a dedicated subwoofer output, USB-C digital audio, and optical S/PDIF input and output. It fits into console-based, hybrid and fully in-the-box setups without changing your routing.

A Clean Signal Path

Conversion and clocking are designed to keep the signal clean, with more than 120dB(A) of dynamic range, very low distortion and jitter, and near-zero latency. When you work digitally over optical or USB-C, no extra A/D or D/A stage is added.

Built On ARC Technology

ARC System, introduced by IK Multimedia in 2007, was the original studio acoustic correction platform. ARC STUDIO+ puts nearly 20 years and five generations of that measurement technology into a standalone box.
