IK Multimedia TONEX Board Amp Modelling Floor Processor, 2,000 Tone Models, 5" Touchscreen
The IK Multimedia TONEX Board is a floor-based amp, cab and pedal modelling processor built around IK’s AI Machine Modeling, with studio-grade effects, dual signal paths and a 5-inch touchscreen. It is designed to hold a complete guitar or bass rig for recording, rehearsal and live work, and it comes with 2,000 premium Tone Models and 230+ factory presets ready to play.
A Large Tone Library
The 2,000 Tone Models cover vintage classics, iconic amps, modern high-gain rigs and sought-after pedals. The collection combines the original TONEX MAX library, new additions, the TONEX ONE+ Signature Collection and captures from Tone Partners. The 230+ factory presets cover both guitar and bass.
Effects And IR Loading
There are 76 studio-grade effects across 9 categories, including AmpliTube favourites, TONEX effects and new processors, covering dynamics, modulation, delay and ambience. A Custom IR Loader with VIR (Volumetric Impulse Response) technology handles cabinet impulse responses. Each chain has up to 12 effect slots, and effects can be placed anywhere in the signal path.
Dual Signal Paths
Each preset can use up to four simultaneous Tone Models, with one amp and one stomp per path, while keeping latency ultra-low. The dual-chain design supports stereo amps, wet/dry rigs, dual-instrument setups and parallel processing, with fully configurable routing.
Touchscreen And Live Control
The 5-inch high-resolution colour touchscreen and five encoders give quick visual feedback and fast editing. Four footswitches with LED indicators work in Preset, Scene and Stomp modes, and up to 1,440 presets can be organised across 12 setlists. MIDI and expression pedals extend control further.
Connects To Any Rig
The stereo input takes guitar, bass, keyboards, synths and grooveboxes. Two independent stereo outputs, on XLR and TRS, let cabinet and non-cabinet signals be sent to different destinations. A stereo FX loop (one stereo or two independent mono send/returns) can sit anywhere in the chain, and four-cable method support, global EQ and 5-pin DIN MIDI suit amps, FRFR systems, recording setups and direct FOH connections.
Software Included
The package includes TONEX Modeler for capturing your own gear, TONEX software (standalone and plug-in), TONEX Board Editor for managing the library from a computer, TONEX 2 MAX and AmpliTube 5 MAX. ToneNET gives access to 60,000+ Tone Models and presets from the TONEX community. Full TONEX Board preset support in AmpliTube is planned for Q1 2027.
