Needle-Style Meter with High-Visibility Display

The GA-2’s needle-style meter features a large, easy-to-read note and string name display, making it approximately four times larger than previous models. The red and green LEDs for pitch discrepancy ensure smooth and precise tuning.

Compact and Lightweight Design

The GA-2 is a slim, pocket-sized tuner that’s easy to carry around. Its rounded body design is comfortable to hold, and it now features a stylish look that highlights the battery compartment. The new battery replacement mechanism lets you slide the entire body for easy access, so you won’t lose the battery compartment cover.

Dedicated Guitar and Bass Modes

The GA-2 features separate Guitar and Bass modes for optimal performance. The Guitar mode supports up to 7-string guitars (7B to 1E), while the Bass mode supports 6-string basses (Low-B to Hi-C). It also includes a built-in high-sensitivity microphone for precise tuning of acoustic guitars.

Quinta Flat Tuning Mode

Designed with heavy metal players in mind, the GA-2 offers a Quinta Flat Tuning mode that supports lowered tunings with five flat steps, extending as far as five semitones below standard pitch. This mode is ideal for extended-range guitars.

Adjustable Calibration

The GA-2 allows you to adjust the calibration between 430 Hz and 450 Hz, providing flexibility for tuning to your preferred pitch.

Sound Mode for Tuning by Ear

The GA-2 also features Sound Out mode, which emits a reference tone from the built-in speaker, allowing you to tune each string of your guitar or bass by ear.

Battery Life

With high-efficiency design, the GA-2 offers long battery life: approximately 200 hours of continuous operation with alkaline batteries, or around 100 hours with zinc-carbon batteries.
