The Korg TM-1 combines a tuner and metronome in the smallest and lightest model in Korg's TM Series, monitoring pitch and rhythm at the same time in an intuitive design that's easy to bring to lessons, rehearsals, or wherever practice happens. Weighing just 51g without batteries, the TM-1 fits easily into a bag or instrument case, and a built-in foldable stand keeps the display visible on a music stand, desk, or other practice surface.
Tune and Keep The Beat - At The Same Time
The tuner and metronome can be used simultaneously, working on two fundamentals of playing at once. The display provides instant visual feedback on tuning as the metronome keeps the beat, helping build more consistent pitch and timing during everyday practice. A C1-C8 detection range with measurement precision within ±1 cent supports accurate tuning across a broad range of wind and string instruments. The reference pitch adjusts from A4 = 438-450Hz in 1Hz steps, and Sound Out mode plays reference tones across one octave from C4 to C5 for tuning by ear.
Adjustable and Easy To Read
The metronome uses moving dots across the display to make the beat easy to follow at a glance. Tempo is adjustable from 30-252 BPM in single-step increments, or Tap Tempo can be used to quickly match a required pace. Fifteen rhythm and beat variations provide flexible options for developing timing across different exercises and musical styles.
Optional Microphone (Sold Separately)
For tuning in noisy environments, the optional CM-400 contact microphone connects through the TM-1's 3.5mm input, sending the instrument's vibrations directly to the tuner for reliable pitch detection when surrounding sound makes tuning with the built-in microphone difficult.
