The LD Systems DAVE 15 G4X is a fully redesigned compact 2.1 active PA system combining a 15" subwoofer and two 8" satellite speakers for a total output of 1,030W RMS (2,060W peak) and 130dB peak SPL, built around an integrated 6-channel mixer with comprehensive input connectivity for a wide variety of live performance and event applications. Completely developed from scratch, the G4X generation introduces new compression drivers, newly developed waveguides for homogeneous and directional 90° x 30° dispersion, FIR filters and DynX DSP Gen.2 for a transparent, colourless sound that marks a significant step forward from previous generations — benefitting both music reproduction and speech intelligibility in equal measure. The optimised bass reflex subwoofer with a larger 3" voice coil and improved airflow design delivers a clear, powerful low end reaching down to 33Hz.

The integrated 6-channel mixer is the heart of the DAVE 15 G4X’s versatility. Channels 1 and 2 are full channel strips with switchable mic, Hi-Z and line inputs via combo XLR, a 2-band bass and treble EQ, and adjustable reverb with three presets — small, large and plate. Channels 3 and 4 accept stereo line sources via combo XLR or RCA for keyboards, synths and drum machines, while channels 5 and 6 accommodate digital SPDIF TOSLINK input or Bluetooth 5.0 streaming for media players, computers and smartphones — ideal for backing tracks, sound effects, interval music and karaoke applications. Two selectable system presets — stereo mode for conventional left/right satellite placement, and cluster mode using M/S split for interference-free coupling of both satellites above the subwoofer on a T-stand — provide optimised performance in any configuration. The DAVE 15 G4X has been engineered from the ground up with a focus on acoustic precision and transparency. New compression drivers and purpose-developed waveguides deliver homogeneous, directional sound dispersion across a 90° x 30° pattern, ensuring consistent coverage across the full audience area. FIR filters and DynX DSP Gen.2 work together to provide distortion-free, transparent sound reproduction at all output levels — delivering a level of audio quality and speech intelligibility that significantly advances the DAVE series. The 15" subwoofer features an optimised bass reflex design with a larger 3" voice coil and reduced air flow noise for clean, punchy low end from 33Hz.

6-Channel Mixer With EQ, Reverb & Digital Connectivity

The fully integrated 6-channel mixer eliminates the need for external mixing equipment across a wide range of applications. Channels 1 and 2 offer switchable mic, Hi-Z and line inputs with 2-band EQ and three reverb presets — making them equally suited to microphones, guitars, basses and line sources. Channels 3 and 4 provide stereo line inputs for keyboards, synths and electronic instruments, while channels 5 and 6 support digital SPDIF TOSLINK and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming for computers, media players and smartphones. The result is a self-contained system that covers virtually every common live performance input scenario without any additional equipment.

Stereo & Cluster Mode Presets For Any Setup

Two selectable system presets optimise the DAVE 15 G4X’s performance for different physical configurations. Stereo mode is designed for classic left/right satellite placement flanking the subwoofer, while cluster mode uses a special M/S split to couple both satellites interference-free above the subwoofer on a T-stand for more headroom and directivity — a popular configuration for solo performers, DJs and presenters working in tighter spaces. A range of custom-fit accessories including bags, a castor board and the T-stand are available separately for further flexibility.
