The LD Systems MAUI 5 is an ultra-compact column PA and monitor system in one, delivering 200W RMS (800W peak) and 120dB maximum SPL in a lightweight 11.3kg, four-component package that assembles in seconds via specially developed multi-pin connectors — no stands, cables or tools required. The smallest member of the MAUI family, the MAUI 5 is designed for musicians, presenters and mobile performers who need professional-grade column PA performance in the most compact and portable format possible, with the convenience of a built-in 4-channel mixer eliminating the need for any external mixing equipment.

The 8" bass reflex ABS subwoofer cabinet houses the Class-D amplifier, LECC digital signal processing and the 4-channel mixer, with the column element housing four 3" neodymium midrange drivers for wide, even sound distribution across a 120° x 20° dispersion field from 50Hz to 20kHz. Built-in Bluetooth streaming, two stereo line inputs via XLR and 6.3mm jack, a mic input, a 3.5mm MP3 input and a Hi-Z instrument input provide comprehensive connectivity for a wide range of sources including microphones, instruments, keyboards, guitars and playback devices. Separate level controls for each input channel, dedicated subwoofer and main volume controls and a high-shelf filter for treble adjustment ensure perfectly tuned performances in any environment. The integrated 4-channel mixer eliminates the need for external mixing equipment, providing dedicated level controls for the mic input, line inputs, MP3/Hi-Z input and Bluetooth alongside subwoofer and main volume controls and a high-shelf filter for treble adjustment. LD Systems’ LECC digital signal processing ensures controlled, dynamic and distortion-free operation at all output levels, and built-in Bluetooth streaming with a dedicated Bluetooth level control adds wireless source connectivity for seamless playback from smartphones and tablets alongside wired inputs.

The MAUI 5 accommodates a wide range of audio sources through its versatile input section. Two stereo line inputs accept connections via XLR or 6.3mm jack, a combined XLR/6.3mm mic input handles microphone connections, a 3.5mm jack MP3 input accommodates media players and smartphones, and a Hi-Z 6.3mm jack input provides a direct instrument connection for guitars, basses and keyboards — all feeding into the integrated 4-channel mixer for a complete and self-contained performance solution.
