Matched Stereo Recording Made Simple - Lewitt LCT 440 PURE Stereo Pair
The Lewitt LCT 440 PURE Stereo Pair is a factory matched set of two 1 inch true condenser microphones with a cardioid polar pattern, supplied with a stereo bar, shock mounts, microphone mounts, windscreens, magnetic pop filters, a transport bag and a mil-spec transport case. Each microphone is designed as a studio all-rounder, suited to stereo recording, vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, drums, piano, voice over, podcasts, streaming and content creation, in home studios, project studios and professional recording environments.

Lewitt measures the sensitivity and frequency response of every LCT 440 PURE it produces. An algorithm then compares all of the measured results and combines microphones into pairs with closely matched specifications, which are packed and shipped together. This means the two channels behave consistently, giving a stable and natural stereo field for drum overheads, room microphones, acoustic guitar, piano and choirs, without the need to audition individual microphones yourself.
Sound And Performance
Each microphone uses a 25.4 mm (1 inch) true condenser capsule with a 3 micron gold sputtered Mylar diaphragm. The frequency range runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with a cardioid pattern that rejects sound from the rear. Self-noise is just 7 dB(A), with a dynamic range of 133 dB(A) and a maximum SPL of 140 dBSPL for 0.5% THD. That combination keeps quiet detail clean while still coping with drums, guitar cabinets and other loud sources, with no pad or filter switches to set.
Everything Included In The Kit
The set comes with two shock mounts to reduce structure-borne noise, two microphone mounts, two windscreens, two magnetic pop filters that attach neatly to the microphone body, and a stereo bar for mounting both microphones on a single stand. Everything fits inside the supplied mil-spec transport case, with a separate transport bag included, which makes the kit easy to store and take to location sessions.
Build And Design
The housing is zinc die cast and each microphone has a gold plated 3-pin XLR connector. Each microphone measures 138 x 52 x 36 mm and weighs 310 g, so a pair is easy to mount and handle. The microphones are externally polarised and need standard 48 V phantom power from your interface or preamp.
