The 848 delivers everything you need to turn your computer into a powerful 24-bit/192 kHz digital audio workstation. It is a next-generation 28 x 32 Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 audio interface with mixing, effects, and networking capabilities for Mac, Windows, and iOS devices. The 848 provides 60 channels of audio I/O, superb analogue performance driven by renowned ESS Sabre32™ DAC technology, and on-board 32-bit effects processing for a comprehensive and high-performance studio solution.
Equipped with industry-leading Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 technology, the 848 connects to any computer or iOS device with extremely low-latency, high-performance drivers. The unit provides 28 inputs and 32 outputs, including four ultra-quiet mic inputs, eight balanced analog inputs, twelve analog outputs, two banks of optical digital I/O, and two independent headphone outs. A powerful 32-bit floating point DSP delivers a 64-channel mixer with effects, including reverb, 4-band EQ, compressor, and gate. Advanced features include AVB audio networking via dual Gigabit network ports, talkback, A/B/C monitor switching, and Wi-Fi control from a phone or tablet.
