The Novation Launch Control is a compact and portable MIDI control surface designed to integrate seamlessly with all major DAWs, software synths, effects and external hardware. Sixteen smooth-feeling endless rotary encoders, each featuring a dedicated RGB LED indicating its relative value, provide hands-on control for panning tracks, adjusting sends and shaping sounds, while eight colour-coded assignable buttons link directly to DAW tracks for instant focus switching, solo, mute and arm functions. A crisp OLED display puts essential information such as track names and custom values right where you need it, and up to seven Custom Modes can be stored to fit specific studio or stage workflows.

Connecting via USB-C or 5-pin MIDI I/O, Launch Control offers powerful DAW integration with custom scripts for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio and Bitwig, plus Mackie HUI support for compatibility with virtually any other DAW. MIDI In, Out and Out2/Thru ports enable custom-mapped control over hardware synths and effects without a computer, and Custom Modes allow Launch Control to be split for simultaneous control of multiple connected devices. Launch Control's 16 endless rotary encoders each feature a dedicated RGB LED that indicates the encoder's relative value at a glance, and adjustable response curves allow them to be tailored to any parameter — whether panning tracks, adjusting sends or sculpting sounds via Custom Modes. The eight colour-coded assignable buttons eliminate endless clicking by linking directly to DAW tracks, letting you switch focus, solo, mute or arm instantly, or assign them to hardware switches, MIDI notes, CCs, program changes and keystrokes for complete workflow flexibility.

Powerful DAW Integration & Hardware Control

Custom DAW scripts provide deep integration with Ableton Live 12 or later, Logic Pro 11 and later, Cubase 12 and later, FL Studio and Bitwig, while Mackie HUI support extends compatibility to virtually any other DAW. Beyond the computer, 5-pin MIDI In, Out and Out2/Thru ports enable custom-mapped control of hardware synths and effects with no computer required at all, making Launch Control equally capable as a studio production tool and a standalone hardware controller for live performance.

The 128 x 64 monochrome OLED display, combined with dimming RGB lights on each encoder, keeps essential information — track names, custom values and more — visible at a glance. Holding Shift while turning any encoder reveals its current value without altering the assigned parameter, making fine adjustments fast and error-free. The bundled software package includes Ableton Live Lite for recording, clip launching and performance, Cubase LE for structured songwriting and production, and creative plugins from Klevgrand (Fosfat), Baby Audio (Parallel Aggressor) and Output (Movement) to help you get started immediately.
