The Novation Launch Control XL gives you hands-on control of all major DAWs, software synths, effects and external hardware from a single comprehensive control surface. Eight precision 60mm faders with selectable fader pickup provide smooth, responsive level control without sudden jumps, 24 smooth-feeling endless rotary encoders with adjustable response curves and dedicated RGB LEDs offer extensive parameter control, and 16 colour-coded assignable buttons across two rows link directly to DAW tracks for instant focus switching, solo, mute and arm. A dedicated transport section allows play, pause and record control directly from the unit, and a crisp OLED display keeps essential information visible at all times. Up to 15 Custom Modes can be stored to fit any studio or stage workflow.

Connecting via USB-C or 5-pin MIDI I/O, Launch Control XL offers powerful DAW integration with custom scripts for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio and Bitwig, plus Mackie HUI support for compatibility with virtually any other DAW. MIDI In, Out and Out2/Thru ports enable custom-mapped control over hardware synths and effects with no computer required, and Custom Modes allow the controller to be split for simultaneous control of multiple connected devices. Eight Faders & 24 Endless Encoders

The eight 60mm faders provide precise, responsive control over mix levels, with selectable fader pickup ensuring smooth transitions rather than sudden jumps when a Custom Mode is recalled. Custom Modes allow the faders to be mapped to effects, filters and any other parameter for hands-on sound shaping in the studio or on stage. The 24 endless rotary encoders each feature adjustable response curves and a dedicated RGB LED indicating relative value — in DAW encoder mode they can pan tracks, adjust sends and navigate the DAW timeline, or be fully customised via Custom Modes for any other purpose.

16 Assignable Buttons & Dedicated Transport Controls

Two rows of eight colour-coded buttons eliminate endless clicking by linking directly to DAW tracks, allowing instant focus switching alongside quick solo, mute and arm access. Buttons can also be freely assigned to hardware switches, MIDI notes, CCs, program changes and keystrokes. A dedicated transport section provides direct play, pause, stop and record control from the unit itself, and in DAW Control mode the bottom row of encoders gives instant access to additional functions including playhead scrubbing, loop point adjustment and arrangement navigation — keeping you in the flow without menu-diving.
