The NUX AMP Academy Stomp Pedal is a versatile and compact multi-FX and amp modeling pedal designed to provide a comprehensive rig in a single stompbox. It features a proprietary TSAC-4K amp modeling algorithm and a dual Cyber IR loader, delivering a realistic and authentic tone that responds like a traditional tube amplifier. The pedal includes a wide array of features for both studio and live performance, making it a flexible and powerful tool for guitarists.
Digital Modeling and Effects
This pedal is equipped with two separate DSP processors, one for amp modeling and the other for effects, allowing for complex signal processing. It includes nine independent effects blocks such as a noise gate, compressor, EQ, delay, and reverb. The dual Cyber IR loader supports 1024 sample resolution with 60 factory and 40 user-loadable IRs, enabling detailed speaker cabinet emulation. The pedal’s 2.86” color LCD display and intuitive controls make it easy to craft and fine-tune your ideal sound.
Connectivity and Performance
Designed for modern musicians, the Amp Academy Stomp Pedal offers extensive connectivity options. It can function as a 24-bit/48kHz USB audio interface for direct recording to a DAW, and a USB-C port allows for firmware updates and use with a PC editor. The pedal supports a supplied NBT-1 Bluetooth adaptor for wireless control and backing track streaming. With 27 preset slots across three scenes and a 30-second looper, this pedal is well-suited for live use, offering quick and seamless sound changes on stage.
