NUX Tube Man MK2 Overdrive Pedal
The Tube Man MKII is designed to deliver authentic tube-like overdrive without the need for a cranked valve amp. Using a FET transistor system, it reproduces the natural harmonic richness and dynamic response of a real tube amplifier.
Dynamic Tube-Like Overdrive
Unlike classic OP-AMP-based overdrive pedals, the Tube Man MKII uses FET circuitry to create natural tube-style clipping. Subtle drive settings produce warm overdrive, while higher settings generate rich distortion with fine harmonic grit. This approach maintains tonal clarity, dynamic responsiveness, and harmonic depth, giving your playing more character and expression.
Controls and Stage Features
Rotary drive, level, and tone controls allow complete shaping of your sound. True bypass or buffer bypass ensures signal integrity. Luminous glow-knobs make adjustments easy in dark-stage environments, while the strong aluminium die-cast chassis offers durability without excess weight.
Power and Connectivity
The Tube Man MKII runs on a standard 9V centre-negative DC power supply with a 75mA current draw (not supplied). It integrates seamlessly into pedalboards and rigs, providing consistent tube-like overdrive wherever you play.
