Open, Bright & Resonant Tones With Plenty Of Attack – The Most Popular Tom Resonant Head In 12" – Remo Ambassador Clear Tom & Snare Drum Head.
The Remo Ambassador Clear in 12" delivers an open, bright and resonant sound with plenty of attack, making it one of the most widely used drumheads across tom batter, resonant and bass drum applications. Constructed from a single ply of 10-mil clear Mylar film, the Ambassador Clear produces a brighter and more open tone than its coated equivalent — with greater volume and clarity that makes it particularly well suited to live performance environments where projection and presence are a priority. As the most popular tom resonant head in the world, the Ambassador Clear is the benchmark against which other resonant heads are measured, delivering the open, singing resonance beneath the tom that complements the batter head and allows the drum's natural tone to speak freely. Equally effective as a batter head for drummers who prefer a brighter, more cutting tom sound.

The Most Popular Tom Resonant Head
The Ambassador Clear's reputation as the most popular tom resonant head in the world is built on its ability to complement virtually any batter head and drum shell combination, providing the open, singing resonance that allows the tom's natural tone to develop fully and decay naturally. The 10-mil single-ply clear film is thin enough to allow the drum to resonate freely while providing sufficient structure to maintain consistent pitch and response — making it the standard choice for resonant tom heads across professional and amateur drumming alike.
Bright, Open Tones With Volume & Clarity
Compared to the Ambassador Coated, the clear film of the Ambassador Clear produces a brighter, more open and cutting tone with greater volume and clarity — making it the preferred choice for drummers who want maximum projection and presence from their toms in live performance situations. The clear finish also makes it a versatile batter head option for players who prefer a brighter, more attack-forward tom sound, and it works equally well across snare and bass drum batter applications.
