The Soundcraft EFX8 mixer combines the trusted features of the EPM series with a built-in 24-bit Lexicon® effects processor, providing a compact solution for professional audio production. Recommended for houses of worship, music venues, theatres, and live performances, the EFX8 delivers exceptional sound quality in a space-efficient design. The mixer’s GB30 mic preamps offer high-resolution gain adjustment, providing clear, transparent audio for microphones and instruments, while true 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones.

The compact design includes 8 mono and 2 stereo channels, each with an FX send and a configurable auxiliary bus. Channel-level controls are intuitive, making it easy to adjust EQ, gain, and effects levels with precision, while the robust metal enclosure ensures durability for both live and installed applications.

Integrated Lexicon Effects For Professional Sound

The EFX8 features a 24-bit Lexicon digital effects processor, widely recognised for high-quality reverb, chorus, delay, and modulation effects. Users have access to 32 FX presets with a tap tempo function, adjustable effect parameters, and a user store facility, providing flexibility for both live performance and recording environments. Effects levels are monitored with a dedicated channel clip LED and can be muted individually, ensuring complete control over your mix.

Connectivity And Control

The mixer provides XLR and ¼” metal jack connectors, RCA stereo playback inputs and record outputs, TRS insert sockets on all mono channels, and ten-segment LED output metering. Mono channels feature 3-band EQ with swept mid, while stereo channels include 3-band EQ. A high-quality headphone output and intuitive solo system allow performers and engineers to monitor simultaneously. Additionally, the EFX8 includes a custom karaoke preset for event use, making it highly versatile across a variety of applications.
