Users can record up to six tracks simultaneously, mix and process audio in real-time, and connect external microphones or line-level devices via two XLR inputs. For video creators, optional wireless timecode synchronization and USB mix-minus simplify on-set audio capture and post-production.

Flexible Recording Options

Adjustable condenser microphones rotate between A-B and X-Y stereo patterns for precise spatial recording. Two XLR mic/line inputs with 24V/48V phantom power handle professional microphones or line-level devices. Record up to six tracks simultaneously and use the X6 as a 6-in/2-out USB audio interface for computer-based recording.

Built-In Audio Processing and Wireless Control

Onboard signal processing includes EQ, compressor, limiter, noise gate, reverb, low-cut filter, and auto gain control. For remote operation, the optional AK-BT1 Bluetooth adapter allows wireless control via the free Portacapture Control app. Sync audio to video with wireless timecode for seamless post-production workflow.
