The Vox Pathfinder 10B is a 10-watt solid-state bass guitar combo amplifier with two 5" Vox Bulldog speakers, designed to deliver practical, characterful bass tone in the same compact and classically styled cabinet as the Pathfinder guitar range. The dual-speaker configuration gives the 10B a fuller low-frequency response than a single small driver would manage at this size, keeping the bass sound body and presence that disappears in a single 5" or 6" driver at practice volumes. The Drive control provides a warm bass distortion with adjustable amount from clean to driven, adding character and saturation without losing the fundamental. The Bright switch adds a boost to the upper harmonics of the signal, useful for pick playing, slap, and any playing style where clarity and presence in the upper midrange is needed alongside bass weight.

Bass and Treble tone controls allow two-band tonal shaping of the overall sound. A headphone and line output provides a filtered signal for silent practice and direct recording, muting the onboard speakers when connected. The cabinet shares the Pathfinder family's basket-weave vinyl, diamond grille cloth, white piping, and chicken head knobs.
